The Postal Service is seeking potential responsible and knowledgeable sources of postal automation desiring to acquire a Remote Bar Code Sorting (RBCS) License for a U.S. Postal Service developed and patented barcoding technology to apply barcodes on letters. As currently contemplated the resulting license would contain an agreement that prohibits against POSTAL SERVICE competitors.
