circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 96.55. 1.
Member to Agreement notifying: CZECH REPUBLIC. If applicable, name of
local government involved (Articles 3.2 and 7.2). 2. Agency
responsible: Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (COSMT).
3. Notified under Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where
applicable, otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be
provided in addition, where applicable): Ship anchors. 5. Title and
number of pages of the notified document: Draft Czech Standard CSN 32
8232 Anchor Inventory of Inland Vessels - Ship Anchors (available in
Czech, 23 pages). 6. Description of content: The draft Standard
specifies the technical requirements, dimensions, testing methods and
marking of the ship anchors of the types used at inland vessels, as
follows: (1) Anchor with increased intensity of hold - depicted in Fig
2, weight and dimensions in Table 3; (2) welded anchor with cavity
stockless arms and broad blades - Fig 3 and Table 4; (3) welded
stockless balanced anchor - Fig 4 and Table 5; (4) casted stockless
balanced anchor - Fig 5 and Table 6; (5) Elbe anchor - Fig 6 and Table
7. All the provisions of the draft Standard are mandatory. 7.
Objective and rationale: Safety. 8. Relevant documents: (1) Notice will
be published in the Official Journal of the COSMT, (2) Draft Czech
