Calimus Lookout is located 22 miles East of the town of Chiloquin, Oregon. The work shall consist of lookout person services to detect and report smokes or fires within and adjacent to the Winema National Forest, to monitor and forward radio messages, and if requested and required, take, record, and report weather conditions. Minor facilities maintenance and construction may be performed by the Contractor using Government supplies and equipment. At the present time the lookout does not have sufficient living quarters. Camping on site of the lookout will be allowed. This is a renewable contract with one original year and two optional renewals. Total small business set-aside. (0087)
