F -- UPGRADE OF WASTE OIL UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK SYSTEMS Sol DAHA33-96-B-0002, Due 053096, contact point, Captain Kay Hensen, (614) 889-7207. Services are required for the upgrade of Waste Oil Underground Storage Tank Systems (UST). Work involves the removal and or replacement of existing waste oil UST systems, at nineteen different locations throughout the State of Ohio, IAW the Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulation (BUSTR) guidelines and Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) 1301:7-9-12. Removal operations include removal of any sink/piping systems. Installation of one-thousand gallon, double-walled, fiberglass UST systems that meet all 1998 upgrade requirements, to include double-walled flex piping and overfill/spill protection. Leak Detection Systems and piping. No excavated soils will be placed back in the excavation. Excavated materials that are below site action levels will be disposed of by the Contractor. Total estimate for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation is a Full and Open Competition, and may be multiple award. The project is divided into five regions, prospective bids may be for one or all regions and up to five contracts may be awarded. The regions are as follows: Region A vicinity of Toledo, Ohio; Region B vicinity of Cleveland, Ohio; Region C vicinity of Columbus, Ohio; Region D vicinity of Kettering, Ohio; Region E vicinity of Cincinnati, Ohio.
