INDUSTRY BRIEFING. A pre-proposal bidders conference in the Jacksonville area will be held on 04 April 1996 at 1000, Sima Conference Room, Mayport Naval Station. To improve the quality of life for ships in the Jacksonville homeport by reducing the number of ships sent out of the homeport area solely for docking requirements, the Government shall provide the dry dock, USS SUSTAIN (AFDM 7) and support craft to the awardee for the purpose of performing this contract. The briefing will provide industrial representatives with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the technical complexities of CG 47, DD 963 and DDG 993 Class Ships.
