R -- SUPPORT SERVICES FOR CRUISE MISSILES COMMAND & CONTROL/WEAPONS SYSTEMS POC Contact, Lori Simms, Phone (703)604-0903 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to conduct a Small Business Administration 8(a) set-aside competition for services in support of the Cruise Missiles Command and Control and Cruise Missiles Weapons Systems Program Offices (PMA-281 and PMA-282). Efforts include: ILS Program Management and Integration; Assistant Progrm Manager for Logistics Management Support; ILS Requirements Support and Training; Maintenance Planning; Support and Test Equipment; Supply Support; Facilities; Technical Documentation; Training; and Installation Support. Effort will be for base year and four option years under an Indefinite Quantity, Time and Material type (fixed labor rate) contract. Contract is estimated to begin 15 September 1996. Anticipate solicitation requirement of 30,880 hours/year, 154,400 hours total. Applicable SIC 8711. This RFP will be transmitted through Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Bulletin Board System (BBS). This RFP will only be available by calling the SPAWAR BBS, (703)602-9494, and downloading the RFP. The Bulletin Board opertes at 14,400 BAUD with a setting of 8:N:1. The RFP will be in MS Word 6.0 format. The file will be compressed by a shareware program, PKZIP 2.04G. The RFP file name is AIR96R34.ZIP. To download this RFP, the prospective offeror will need at a minimum, PC or MAC with modem emulation software that supports VT100 or ANSI standing; a modem that operates between 300 bps - 14.4 bps and a minimum of 1.5 MEG of free disk space. The RPF will not be available for at least 21 days from the date of this synopsis. Prospective offerors are required to supply the name and address of their company; the point of contact's name and phone number; and optionally; provide answers to a questionnaire on electronic contracting; in order to be placed on the RFP's Bidders List. The bulletin board will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, as the demand may be heavy, it may be necessary to call repeatedly or on off hours. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered.
