A--INTRODUCTION: The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, New York
is requesting quotations for removing and disposing nonhazardous
construction and demolition debris. This is a combined synopsis/Request
for Quotations for commercial items prepared in accordance with the
format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. Request for Quotations number DAKF36-96-Q-0159
is an unrestricted request and incorporates provisions and clauses in
effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-36. SIC code for this
request is 4953, and the size standard is $6 million. Quotations in
response to this notice shall be received by 12 April 1996, 1600 hours
addressed to Contracts Division, Directorate of Contracting, 45 West
Street, Fort Drum, New York. B--REQUIREMENTS: Line Item 0001: Furnish
all facilities, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove and
dispose of approximately 1,200 ton of nonhazardous construction and
demolition debris from site located at Route 26, Fort Drum, New York.
Contractor's trucks shall be loaded by the Government between the hours
of 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Debris shall be transported to a landfill
facility that is approved for the disposal of such waste by appropriate
federal and state regulatory agencies. The Contractor shall obtain a
letter from the landfill stating that they are a permitted facility,
and that this landfill can and will accept this type of refuse. The
letter shall also include the NYSDEC permit number and shall be
provided to the Contracting Officer within 10 days after work
performance. The Contractor shall provide weight tickets from the
landfill to Building T-4000, Fort Drum, New York. The performance
period shall not exceed 4 weeks from the date the Contractor is
notified to begin. C--APPLICABLE PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: 1. FAR

A completed copy of 52.212-3 is requested with quotations. 2. FAR

Number 2, dated 08 August 1994, as issued by the U.S. Department of
