The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) invites proposals to provide earth-moving equipment (elevating scrapers, hydraulic excavator, water truck, and self-propelled compactors with operators for projects related to the maintenance, restoration, and/or construction of wetlands, water delivery systems, dikes and related work on Ankeny, Baskett Slough, and William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuges located near Salem, Dallas, and Corvallis, Oregon, and related easement lands managed by USFWS. The contract period will be from date of issue to September 30, 1996, with two one-year options. Total annual work under the contract will not exceed $98,000. Proposals will be evaluated by a selection committee of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service personnel based upon the following criteria in order of importance; (1) Adequacy of the equipment to perform the work, (2) Hourly rental rate, (3) Mobilization/demobilization, and (4) Time required to mobilize.
