Approximately 5,900 feet of channel excavation along Molly Ann's Brook; consisting of a base contract (1,100) feet and 3 options (4,800 feet). The major work consists of channel excavation, including rip-rap and cabled concrete blockmats, erosion protection, gabions and concrete retaining walls, and utility relocations, including sanitary and water lines. Miscellaneous work includes guard rails, fence, bituminous pavement and concrete. Specifications and 1/2 size drawings will be furnished at a charge of $7.00 per set. Issue date for plans and specifications is on/or about 19 April 1996 with a bid opening date of 21 May 1996 at 2:00 pm. Completion time for this project is 315 calendar days. All checks are to be drawn to ``FAO, USAED, Norfolk''. Payment will not be returned and specifications need not to be returned.
