Z -- MISCELLANEOUS HVAC & LIGHTING SYSTEM UPGRADE - BARRE, VT MAIN OFFICE SOL 082530-96-A-0063 DUE 042596 POC William J. Rister, Project Manager, (860) 285-7237. The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for selective removal and replacement of the entire HVAC systems at the Barre, VT Main Office at 3 South Main St., Barre, VT 05641-9998. The project also includes removal and replacement of basement and first floor ceilings and lighting. Work must be phased to complete basement area first, first floor heating second, and air conditioning third, and related miscellaneous work. The estimated cost of the work is between $100,000.00 and $500,000.00, with completion within 150 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on April 25, 1996. The successful offeror must have a minimum of ten years verifiable prior experience with repairs and alterations projects of this size and scope to be eligible for award. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a March 29, 1996 at a cost of $25.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S. Postal Service, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Certified checks or money orders only, made payable to the Disbursing Officer, U. S. Postal Service (Reference Solicitation No. 082530-96-A-0063).
