PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Eglin AFB, FL has a project for Demolition of 11 Buildings (402, 406, 510, 527, 539, 761, 872, 878, 879, 1244,and 2074), Eglin AFB, FL. Bid opening date of 28 May 1996 is only an estimated date. In general, the work will consist of removal of existing asbestos-containing materials and lead base paint from the buildings, removal, demolition, transportation and disposal of the buildings, complete, including all foundations, appurtenances, equipment and utilities above and below ground, removal of existing concrete entrance walks, removal of all existing HVAC, fire detection and plumbing equipment, piping, ducts and controls, removal of existing underground lawn sprinkler system, and gas piping, removal of all existing electrical service lines, equipment, fixtures and wiring, removal of existing telephone and televison equipment and wiring. Filling all holes and other depressions resulting from demolition of the building. Seeding of all filled and damaged ground areas. The performance period is 120 days calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
