Z -- GROUNDWATER TREATMENT PLANT PROCESS EQUIPMENT CONSTRUCTION Contact: David Dale, Sr Contracts Specialist, 516-344-3199. This contract will be set aside for bidding by small businesses only. SIC code 1542 applies. Work consists of supply, installation, startup, testing and initial operation of air stripping equipment for removing VOC contaminants from groundwater at a rate of approximately 700 gpm. Work will include an air stripping tower, fans, duct work, chemical feed and recirculation equipment along with electrical and piping connections to an MCC and supply piping provided under a separate contract. All equipment will be located on a concrete foundation inside a treatment building constructural under a separate contract. All work will be awarded on a single contract. Estimated construction cost is $200,0000 to $400,000. Estimated construction cost is $200,000 to $400,000. Estimated construction time is 26 weeks. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $30 for bid documents.
