AMSEL-AC-CC, 703-704-2193. RFP for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite
Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a period of one year, with four one year
options, to provide supplies and services to design and install ICIDS
II at US Army facilities in CONUS and OCONUS. ICIDS II provides a means
for the Army, Navy, and Air Force installations to detect, assess, and
respond, as necessary, to UNAUTHORIZED ENTRY OR INTRUSION OF
FACILITIES. ICIDS II will consist of commercially available interior
and exterior sensors, primary monitor console (PMC), remote status
monitors (RSMs), remote area data collectors (RADCs), closed circuit
television (CCTV), and entry control systems (ECS). The ICIDS II
contract will contain requirements for a Combined Site Survey
Validation/Site Specific Design (concept), a combined Site Specific
Design (final)/site Installation, Life Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS),
and contractor provided training efforts. Many proposed sites already
have intrusion detection equipment and their integration into ICIDS II
may be needed. An estimated 2 to 12 installations are forecast in each
ordering period. A site visit to view a demonstration of the current
ICIDS I system will be held at Fort Belvoir, VA during the week of 6-10
May 1996, at 1000 hours, in Bldg 334. A maximum of two (2) persons from
each interested contractor will be permitted to attend this
demonstration. Representatives must be American citizens. Names of the
visitors and verification of citizenship must be provided to Mr. T.
Endler, Physical Security Equipment Management Office, 5900 Putman

1996. Maps showing the location of the demonstration will be provided
