The National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center has a requirement to procure (12 ea) CADD-PCA Ambulatory Infusion Pumps, Model 5800R under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c)(1) as set forth in FAR 6.301-1 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The required infusion pumps must include a remote dose cord, pump pouch, 9-volt alkaline battery, 50ml non-sterile demo reservoir, carrying case, two locking keys, and operations manual. Each pump must meet the following required specifications: size - 2.8cm x 16.0cm including 50ml Medication Cassette Reservoir; weight - 17oz including battery, empty 50ml Medication Cassette Reservoir, and remote dose button; power - 9-volt alkaline or lithium battery; accuracy (+ or -) 6%, nominal; warranty - 1 year; alarms - power-up, pump in strode mode, low battery, low reservoir volume, programmed volume depleted, high pressure and system error.
