The subject solicitation is hereby amended as follows: The offer receipt date is extended to 3:00 p.m. on April 10, 1996. The following specifications are hereby added to those originally published. NASA Langley Research Center requires a High Performance Fortran (HPF) compiler with the following features: 1) The compiler shall execute on and generate code for the following platforms: IBM SP2, Intel Paragon, and UNIX workstations from SUN Microsystem, Silicon Graphics, Hewlett-Packard and IBM RS/6000. 2) It shall be licensed for up to 128 nodes for each platform with up to four concurrent users. 3) It shall come with annual maintenance that commences at the end of the warranty period. 4) It shall be fully compliant with the Subset HPF standard and the vendor must deliver a full HPF implementation by the end of 1996, under the annual maintenance. 5) It shall be fully integrated with the native FORTRAN compilation systems on all supported platforms. 6) It shall auto-parallelize FORTRAN 77 DO loops or loop nests which operate on explicitly distributed arrays without any HPF directives marking the loops. 7) It shall include a graphical HPF source profiler which correlates any performance information at the function or line level directly to the HPF source code. 8) It shall be capable of parallelizing indirect array assignments as well as FORALLS or DO loops which require support for indirection. 9) It shall offer the FORTRAN 90 intrinsic RANDOM-NUMBER which follows the implementation of Michael Mascagni. 10) It shall provide the FORTRAN 90 SYSTEM-CLOCK intrinsic with millisecond resolution on all platforms. 11) The HPF Library shall be supported.
