Tatum, (202)565-8004 The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VAC0), Washington, D.C., is seeking sources to provide interment flag of the United States for burial ceremonies of deceased military personnel and veterans. Estimated annual requirement is for 500,000 flags. Product must meet Commercial Item Description (CID) A-A-52693 of 14 February 1996, FSC 8345, specification. Salient characteristics are: The interment flag of the United States shall have a hoist of 60 inches, a fly 114 inches, and be made of 100 percent cotton bunting from American Grown cotton. In response to this sources sought, interested vendors are to submit capability statement detailing ability to supply interment flags in an estimated quantity of 500,000 a year. Copy of this CID can be obtained by including a request in your response submitting your capability statement . All responses must be in writing and received by April 18, 1996.
