Firm (not interruptible) Delivery of Natural Gas to Armenia at the
Armenia-Georgia Border, estimated quantity 195 million cubic meters
(mcm's), volume and quantity measured and monitored at the ''Red
Bridge'' (Krasni Most) commercial border station. Delivery shall be at
a rate of 3.15 mcm's/day, w/ allowable variance of 150,000 cubic
meters/day. Delivery shall commence on July 15,1996 and end on/about
September 16, 1996. Subcontracting with small business concerns and
socially and economically disadvantaged entities: USAID encourages the
participation to the maximum extent possible of U.S. entities that are
small business concerns, small disadvantaged business concerns,
including women-owned concerns, historically Black colleges and
universities, colleges and universities whose student body is more than
40% Hispanic American, and private voluntary organizations controlled
by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, including women
in accordance with Part 19 of the FAR and Part 726 of the AIDAR. It is
anticipated that the prime contractor will make maximum practicable
use of such entities, subcontracting plans should be included in
proposals submitted. When calling, be prepared to state name, address,
and solicitation number. RFP's will be primarily issued on 3.25''
floppy discs. A very limted number of hard copies will be available.
All requests for RFP No. EPE-96-01 must be made in writing addressed
to: Agency for International Development, M/OP/ENI/EPE, Room 1402,
SA-14, Washington, D.C. 20523-1415, Attn: Richard Mann. All requests
must include four self-addressed mailing labels. The RFP will be mailed
via U.S. Postal Service approximately April 16, 1995. Limited copies of
the RFP shall be made available for pick up/walk-in no earlier than 3
days after the issuance date. Requests for receipt of the RFP via
courier will not be honored. Only one request for the RFP per
organization will be honored. This CBD notice can be viewed and
downloaded using the Agency Gopher. The RFP can be downloaded from the

be confirmed by written (fax or mail) notification to the contact
person noted above. This RFP is anticipated to be issued not less than
15 days after this notice. It is the responsibility of the recipient
