Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (CDNSWC) has a requirement for
engineering and technical services and other direct costs for
vulnerablity and hardware studies of ship structrures and shipboard
equipment. The contractor may be tasked to: 1) execute, upgrade, and
provide documentation of the CDNSWC Ship Vulnerability Model (SVM) and
similar computer programs, 2) study ship systems under mechanical
effects of attacking weapons, 3) Study of ship systems to determine
their response to simulated weapon loads, 4) evaluate ship simulation
response to weapon loads and 5) provide training and other support
related to ship and submarine vulnerability. The period of performance
will be for a total of three (3) years consisting of one (1) base year
and two (2) option years. It is estimated to require 8,300 manhours of
effort per year for an estimated total of 24,900 manhours of effort
over the total performance period of three (3) years. The RFP will be
issued o/a 18 April 1996 with a closing date of approximately 30 days
thereafter. It is requested that copies of the solicitation be
requested in writing. All reponsible sources may submit a proposal
which will be considered by the agency. This is a 100% Small Business
