The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Trenton has a requirement to relocate the propulsion test capabilities from Trenton, NJ to the Propulsion System Evaluation Facility (PSEF) at the NAWCAD Patuxent River, MD. This contract is to provide all the services, materials and equipment necessary for the disassembling, relocating and validating the designated test capabilities in the PSEF. The services are grouped into two main categories - management and relocation. Management services are required to plan, organize, execute, and coordinate the relocation effort. Relocation services include: pre-disassembly, validation, disassembly, preservation packing and loading of trasportation vehicles at NAWCADTRN; unloading, unpacking, siting, reassembly, re-validation at NAWCADPAX; installing of equipment and personal property needed to ready each PSEF room for the relocated test capability; and designing, installing and conducting the first article test for each test room. The PSEF building will be under construction while the equipment and personal property installation is being performed and the contractor will be required to coordinate with the PSEF construction contractor. The Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) will provide under another contract the transportation vehicles for moving the items from Trenton, NJ to Patuxent River, MD. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this procurement is 8742. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Time and Material type contract is anticipated. The estimated manhours for these services are a total of 256,000 manhours. A preproposal conference is tenatively scheduled for early July 1996 at NAWCAD Trenton.
