The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at Edwards AFB, California has a requirement for pest control services. This requirement was previously synopsized in the CBD on 14 Mar 96 as an unrestricted procurement open to small and large businesses. As a result of market data received after the 14 Mar 96 publication, the AFFTC is conducting this market survey to determine if there are sufficient qualified and interested small businesses to support a 100% small business set aside for this acquisition. The requirement includes providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items necessary to perform control of insects, arachnids, birds, rodents and weeds. Services shall be performed at Edwards AFB, CA, including the property of the Phillips Laboratory. The requirement includes a basic one-year contract period with four (4) one-year option periods for a total of five (5) years if all options are exercised. Bidders are required to submit proof of a valid State of California Agricultural Pest Control License for categories A, B, C and D; as well as, a valid State of California Branch 2 and 3 Pest Control Operators License.
