Hill, Contracting Officer, (501)543-7485 Work consists of replacing two existing 600 ton Carrier centrifugal chillers located in Building 5B, Area C with two new 450 ton chillers, pumps, piping, and tanks in accordance with technical specifications. Work will also include all necessary site work and utilities. The period of performance will be nine months from date of receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation issue date is anticipated to be around April 30, 1996; the due date for receipt of bids is estimated to be around May 30, 1996. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification code for this acquisition is 1711; small business size standard is $7.0 million. Requests for solicitation packages must be in writing, referencing Solicitation No. 222-96-2004(B), and shall include company name, size status, mailing address, point of contact, phone number, and facsimile number. There is a $25.00 per set nonrefundable charge for the solicitation package. Payment may be made by company check or money order and made payable to the Food and Drug Administration.
