54 -- MARKET STUDY FOR CONTROL CAB DUE 050396 POC Vincente Shields, (507) 272-4531 The Panama Canal Commission is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of a prefabricated structure similar to air traffic control cab with interior floor dimensions of approximately 6.4 meters (21 feet) by 6.4 meters (21 feet). The cab will serve as a signal station at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. Visibility out the cab is of primary importance. The cab will house a console with a footprint of approximately 1.83 meters (6 feet) by 4.88 meters (16 feet), a toilet/lavatory kitchenette, and limited storage space. One person will normally occupy the cab. Any information provided will be at no cost to the Commission. The information will be used in a market study to determine specifications, prices, availability, delivery schedules, structure weight, shipping costs, etc. Mention in your reply if your products are on a GSA schedule.
