The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for a Draw Tower, 1 each. The draw tower must be suitable for drawing glass fibers and/or the fabrication of large diameter glass tubes or rods, consisting of the following items: Draw tower frame and base, Down feed, High temperature furnace, and Laser micrometer. The system will be used for the fabrication of glass rods, hex bars or tubes with diameters approaching 2 inches. The required delivery of all items is 30 days after contract award date. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The solicitation will be closed 30 days after the solicitation issuance date. The Standard Industry Code is 3821.
