This is an informational synopsis, not a solicitation. Solicitation number DAAB07-96-R-E009 has been assigned to this procurement. A draft solicitation package for the Standardized Integrated Command Post System (SICPS) Rigid Wall Shelter (RWS) V4 will be available to prospective offerors on the CECOM Electronic Bulletin Board on or about April 3, 1996. The package includes a draft Functional Discription Document (FUDD), Draft Statement of Work and a Draft Solicitation. A drawing package, in hard copy will be furnished for informational purposes only by contacting the above Contract Specialist/Contracting Officer. A pre-solicitation conference for DAAB07-96-R-E009 will be held at Fort Monmouth, NJ on 16 April 96. Attendance is limited to three representatives from each offeror. The names of the attendees along with social security numbers shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer NLT 10 April 96, time and place will be provided to those wishing to attend. Comments to the above are invited and should be submitted to the Contracting Officer as soon as possible but no later than 11 April 96. Questions will be entertained at the pre-solicitation conference. Formal solicitation DAAB07-96-R-E009 is anticipated to be released on or about 1 May 96. The solication will call for a Firm Fixed Price Contract to provide 147 RWS (10 to be subjected to First Article Test) in the first 12 months with three (3) one year options for a total of up to 400 units.
