On Call Class III Cultural Resource Inventories, Central Arizona Project, Arizona. The Bureau of Reclamation proposes to enter into a contract for Class III Cultural Resource Inventories of up to 25,000 acres, but not less than 100 acres, in project areas under jurisdiction of the Phoenix Area Office. Work required under this solicitation shall include the following: (a) Preparing and submitting a research design which discusses, in detail, the assumptions and planned approaches that will be followed to effectively translate broad research goals with the information and data gathered from task surveys; (b) Performing Class III Cultural Resource inventories in specific project areas identified in task/delivery orders issued by the Contracting Officer, on an ``on call'' basis; (c) Identifying recording on site forms, mapping, and photographing cultural resource sites; (d) Preparing and submitting after action survey reports to the Government relative to each delivery order task completed; (e) Evaluating cultural resource sites for eligibility for the National Register of Historic places; and (f) Submitting survey and testing reports, monthly progress reports, and annual contract activity summary reports. The Government anticipates awarding and Indefinite Quantity Cost Reimbursement type contract from this solicitation. This is a total set aside for small business firms. The SIC Code for this project is 8999, and the small business size standard is $7 million. The first copy is free with an $11.00 nonrefundable charge for additional copies. The solicitation will be available on or about April 12, 1996.
