Vollmer, (703) 602-8116. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) plans
to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering
Agreement N00024-96-G-4160 with Almon A. Johnson, Inc., 07724-1273.
Orders will be issued for disassembly, inspection, repair,
modification, use, and installation of Government-Furnished Automatic
Towing Machines, Minesweeping Winches, Stern Anchor Winches, Traction
Winches and associated controls. These machines include Series 320, 322
and 400. The contractor will provide engineering analyses and reports,
drawings, engineering change proposals, installation plans, planned
maintenance systems, corrective maintenance actions, equipment test
plans, safety analyses, and instructional, operational, and maintenance
manuals. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The
BOA and orders thereunder will be placed on a sole source basis with
the equipment OEM, Almon A. Johnson, Inc., as it is the only firm
possessing the proprietary data rights and expertise necessary to
accomplish the work in a timely and cost effective manner. See Numbered
