Jene', (205)933-4493 The DVAMC, Birmingha, requires A/E services for the project titled ''DEMENTIA SPECIAL CARE UNIT''. The scope of work shall include the development of design program and schematics drawings for the renovation of existing space, building additions, and utility relocation to the nursing home care unit for dementia patients at the DVAMC, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404. A/E will be required to submit a cost proposal for all phases of design work at one time. Contracts for design program, schematics, design development and construction will be negotiated at one time with awards to be issued to selected A/E upon completion and approval of each stage. Award will be made pending availability of funds. Construction cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The area of consideration is restricted to within a 250 mile radius of the DVAMC, Tuscaloosa, AL. All interested firms should submit the appropriate data (SF 254 and SF255) as required by numbered Note 24 to the Contracting Officer at the address listed above by CLOSE OF BUSINESS (4:30p.m. local time) on 4/22/96.
