U -- ADULT ORIENTED MULTIMEDIA BASIC SKILLS PROGRAM SOL W73BFL-6079-0103 POC Contract Specialist JOYCE SIBOLD (703) 696-7113 (Site Code DAHC30) The Fort Myer Education Center is seeking sources for an adult-oriented multimedia basic skills program focusing on applied mathematics, reading and writing enhancement. The range of instruction will be grades 5 through 12. The package will be non linear and menu driven requiring only minimal instructor involvement but will include a complete record-keeping system, allowing instructor access to scores on pretests, integrated simulations and review questions. Sufficient software is needed to provide for ten students simultaneously. Sources must be prepared to provide software brochure/marketing literature indicating the full parameters of the program in terms of package components and grade level applicability. A multimedia basic skills package is preferred; however, a CD ROM delivery mode will be considered. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation For Bid (IFB); we are only seeking companies who have the necessary capabilities and are interested in proposing to become an additional basic skills software package source. The information provided by respondents will be evaluated to identify capable potential sources for this effort only. Respondents will be included on any mailing list for any solicitation that may result from this notice.
