The principal components of the work consists of (1)installation of ground water treatment system to include air-strippers, vapor phase granular activated carbon vessels, surge tank, chemical feed tanks, pumps, piping, valve controls and electrical service; (2) construction of a reinforced concrete treatment pad, chain link enclosure with swing type gates and a roof canopy; (3) installation of extraction/recharge wells, pumps, piezometers, and well head equipment; and (4) underground piping, conduit installation, trench filling and compaction. IFB requests must be received prior to attending the MANDATORY prebid conference scheduled for April 23, 1996 at 10:00 am at the site. Copies of solicitations are $45.00 each (non-refundable charge/fee). Personal checks and cash will NOT be accepted. Checks or money orders shall be made out to the U.S. Federal Treasury.
