Z -- JOB ORDER CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES SOL SP3100-96-R-0010 DUE 061496. Contact Point Joni Stephens, 717-770-5912, Contract Specialist. Indefinite delivery/quantity contract for a variety of construction/building services to include but not limited to industrial, recreational, general alterations, maintenance, repair and new. All work under this contract will be performed at Defense Distribution Region East (DDRE), New Cumberland, PA; Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, PA; Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA; Middletown Air Base, Middletown, PA and Defense Distribution Depot, Mechanicsburg, PA (DDSP). Each project to be performed will be negotiated with the contractor using a Construction Specification Book and Means Manuals. Contractors submitting offers will be required to submit two coefficients or multipliers (one for normal working hours and one for other than normal working hours). The means price list in the contract is then multiplied by the appropriate coefficient(s) to determine the actual cost of the item. Each job order is broken down into these individual tasks of work, and a total price is developed based upon the fixed means price and the contractor's coefficient(s). After verification of the listed tasks and corresponding means prices, including negotiation and agreement on the cost of any non-pre-priced tasks, the Contracting Officer issues a delivery order for the performance of the work. The period of performance will be for a 15 month base year with 2 (12 month) option years. The anticipated start date is 01 JAN 97. The Government guarantees a minimum amount of work for the base year of $500,000.00. The Government will utilize ``best value'' buying techniques for this acquisition.
