Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, to remove asbestos in Building 36, Section BC East. Work is to include removal of asbestos containing floor covering and asbestos containing insulation of water tanks and piping within an approximately 2400 square feet of asbestos containing transite type exterior wall, and the wall section's replacement with CDX over existing studs. The work shall be performed by an asbestos abatement contractor who has experience in asbestos abatement. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable DMA, EPA, NFPA and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 90 days. Some work will require premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. The range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
