This synopsis amends the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (China Lake), California synopsis published 19 April 1996. NAWCWPNS intends to procure 25mm PGU-32/U ammunition including fabrication, assembly, and packaging. Under the terms of the license agreement between the U.S. Government and Raufoss A/S, Norway, the developer of this ammunition, use of the technology requires that the cartridges be built in the United States, its possessions or Canada. The contract will include a baseline production quantity of 258,170 rounds and an option quantity of 291,790 rounds. Delivery will be made in increments. The basic quantities approximate delivery schedule will be from 90 to 270 days after contract award. The option quantities delivery schedule will be from 300 to 450 days after contract award. Delivery will be specified by the Government at the time of shipment. The solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 19 April 1996 and will close approximately 30 days thereafter.
