58 -- POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY FOR TRACKING SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY DUE 043096 POC David Fowlkes, Code 4912, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, 12350 Research Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826-3224 The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, issues this announcement in order to identify sources, technology and hardware related to Tracking Systems used in conjunction with NAWCTSD's virtual reality trainers. Current system requirements include: (1) tracking of position and attitude points in three dimensional space, (2) At least 8 effective channels, (3) working volume of 8 feet x 8 feet x 10 feet, (4) Allowance for non-restrictive movement by the user, (5) Resolution and accuracy necessary to model M16 accuracy (4.6 inches at 100 yards), (6) and wireless communication between user and hardware base.
