The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division needs one computerized spectroradiometer, including all optics and electronics, chopper, internal blackbody, reference source and software. Along with the spectroradiometer, an Indium Antimonide detector module, six position motorized filter wheel module and a motorized precision variable field of view aperture wheel with eight positions are also required. The salient characteristics of this portable unit are: Non-parallax on-line reflex sighting, so that the sighting is performed using the same optics through which the target energy will be collected, uniform field of vision (FOV) response - plus or minus 10% in both x and y directions across 70% of the specified FOV, symmetric FOV response: plus or minus 5% when measured at 10% of the maximum response in the x and y directions, internal blackbody - ambient reference source with minimum drift and gradient, monitoring accuracy better than 0.1 degree centigrade.
