The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to issue a Full and Open Competitive Request for Proposal, Brand Name or Equal, to Duplication Systems for installation at the Operational Support Facility, 45335 Vintage Park Plaza, Sterling, VA 22071. Salient characteristics include, but are not limited to : the Multi-Format 8mm and 4mm Tape Duplication system and DC-ROM Duplication System shall consist of one system control unit tower configuration, color monitor, keyboard, and 2.0 GB hard disk for master image storage. The 8mm system shall include nine (9) Exabyte tape drives. The 4mm system shall include nine (9) HP DDS2 tape drives. The Duplication system shall include nine (9) CD ROM drives and shall be capable of expansion to 9 drives. Request for Proposal will be issued o/a 16 April 1996.
