SOL RFP673-NAC001 DUE 052896 POC Contracting Officer, Eric Guidash, (813)972-7588 Provide design, manufacture and installation services for the incorporation of quality interior Medically Integrated Systems Casework (MISC) and Movable Modular Furniture (MMF) and their support components for the Composite Medical Facility, 3rd Medical Center, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, Alaska. The MISC is defined as a demountable and relocatable medical casework system composed of, including but not limited to, vertical and horizontal support elements, work surfaces, storage units, power, communication, plumbing and medical gas distribution, that are rail panel and/or wall connected and/or floor supported. The MMF is defined as demountable and relocatable and is composed of, including but not limited to, vertical and horizontal support elements, work surfaces, storage units, material handling components, power and communication distribution, that are rail panel and/or wall connected and/or floor supported. The interior furnishings and medical support components shall provide maximum product integration and flexibility to accommodate changing medical technology and functional requirements. All MISC and MMF components in the clinical, administrative and materials handling areas shall be interchangable and the product of a single manufacture. A wide selection of components shall be provided to meet utility, clinical and administrative requirements. A complete line of products must provide the benfits to the entire organization to include multi-occupancy offices, labs, pharmacy, providor offices, exam rooms, utility/storage rooms, etc. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 2599. A prebid conference shall be held May 7, 1996, at 9:00 am, at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, Alaska. A flat service fee of $50.00 shall be assessed for each solicitation package.
