The Government plans to acquire approximately 14 shipping and storage containers for the AGM-142 All-Up Round (AUR) Missile. A technical data package consisting of production specifications and engineering drawings will be provided. This requirement includes fabrication of 13 production containers after successfully fabricating one preproduction sample container (the preproduction sample container will count as a single contract deliverable in the total quantity of 14 containers), completing qualification preproduction tests, and completing the physical configuration audit. A preproduction sample is required 160 days after contract award, with first container delivery 90 days after preproduction approval/physical configuration audit. All preproduction tests and the physical configuration audit are required prior to release for production, as identified in the specifications. Sealed bid procedures will be used with release of bid packages on or about 22 Apr 96. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under SIC Code 3769 for businesses up to 1,000 employees. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition.
