The U.S. Department of HUD is soliciting the services of a contractor to provide, install and make modifications to, customized facility management software to meet the needs of the Boston Housing Authority's (BHA's) focus on preventative maintenance. This system must catalog all large scale systems present in a housing development; list all of the subcomponents of these systems; track all repairs and replacements that were performed on subcomponents; track all scheduled steps in the preventative maintenance programs and inform maintenance staff of when tasks must be performed in order to keep the maintenance system running at peak efficiency. This new software system will be required to interface with BHA's existing work order system. Offers are being solicited on an unrestricted basis. All responsible offers will be considered. Offerors will be required to submit a proposal which includes information about their experience, past performance, and technical/management capability. The proposal must demonstrate the offeror's experience in developing software systems as described above, and to provide references.
