Arlington, VA 22242-5160 H -- BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT TO TEST, DISASSEMBLE, INSPECT, AND
ANALYZE THE LM2500 SINGLE SHANK TURBINE AND PAIRED BLADE GAS SOL
N00024-96-R-4161 POC 02424E, E. Moberg, 703-602-0202. The Naval Sea
Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions
over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-96-R-4163 with
Greenwich Air Services, 4590 N.W. 36th Street, P.O. Box 522187, Miami,
FL 33152. Orders will be issued to test, disassemble, inspect, and
analyze the LM2500 Single Shank Turbine (SST) and Paired Blade
Generators for the LM2500 Marine Gas Turbine Program. Orders will be
issued pursuant to U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Greenwich Air Services is one
of three contractors qualified and licensed for level 4 repair of
LM2500 gas turbines by the original equipment manufacturer, General
Electric Company. The three companies are the only qualified licensed
repair facilities in the United States that have the necessary
drawings, tech manuals, toolings, capability, facilities, experience,
and are in line to receive the OEM initiated design changes. No other
source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to
perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or
services satisfy the Navy's requirements. Companies interested in
