The VA Northern California Health Care System, Pleasant Hill, California, has a requirement for an accredited, medical facility to provide backup Diagnostic Radiology services for the VA Outpatient Clinic, Redding, California 96001. Radiology examinations/procedures are to be performed on an as needed basis by a Radiographic Technologist, licensed by the California and/or National Registry of Radiologic Technologists during the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, excluding weekends and national holidays. Contractor must also have on staff a California Board Certified Radiologist to interpret examinations and document his/her findings for patients to take back to the VA clinic. Contractor shall provide the following services including but not limited to; provide all outpatient and emergency services at its own facility, (which must be located within the city limits of Redding, CA.), provide film interpretations for studies involving physicians directly (IVP, GI, Ultrasound), provide services to include film without direct physician involvement (bones, chests, CPT with technical component, TC), all x-rays shall be processed according to all State regulations.
