This requirement is for engineering and technical services in support of exterior communications for a three month bridge contract to services being provided under Contract N00140-94-C-XX03, with C-Cubed Corporation. The period of performance for this three month bridge contract will be 1 July 1996 through 30 September 1996. The competitive follow-on contract (N00421-95-R-5120) will be awarded by 1 October 1996. It is anticipated that a cost plus fixed fee level of effort interim contract will be negotiated, with C-Cubed Corporation for approximately 32,887 hours. This action is taken pursuant to the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation, 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other goods or services will meet the agency's requirements.
