20 -- BOAT DAVIT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM SOL DTCG40-96-B-30026 DUE 041996 POC Contact Brenda Thomas, (410) 636-4298/Contract Specialist, Mary Jo Staron, (410) 636-4343/Contracting Officer The U.S. Coast Guard YARD has a requirement for nine (9) boat davit hydraulic systems. This is an indefinite delivery requirements type contract, with an option to extend the services. The Contractor shall furnish the hydraulic systems, NSN 2030-01-LG4-8757, MIL-I-45208A, which shall consist of an electric motor driven hydraulic power unit, two (2) hydraulic power winches, rotary actuator for boom rotation, control console, motor controller, boom/adapter coupling, and associated technical documentation. The hydraulic system shall control the handling of a small boat and cargo. The system will be installed on 140 FT ICEBREAKER TUB. THIS IS NOT A COMMERCIAL ITEM. The first unit is to be delivered 75 days after award. Delivery orders will be issued as requirements arise on an intermittent basis. All deliveries shall be F.O.B. Destination, to the designated locations. Government testing will be conducted on the first unit at the U.S. Coast Guard YARD, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, Maryland, 21226. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
