Sources are sought to procure a Graphite Heat Treat/Sintering Furnace and process control system for Wright-Patterson AFB OH. This heat treating/sintering furnace will be used for the carbonization and graphitization of carbon-carbon composite materials. The furnace shall be able to reach and sustain temperatures to 3000 degress centrigrade. The furnace shall also be computer controlled with a means to program the temperature profile and monitor the process as well as collect data. The furnace shall also have a vacuum pump-down and process gas system to control the environment inside the furnace. Entire unit including all accessories shall have dimensions not to exceed 5' x 8' x 6' high. Contractor shall provide installation, inspection and demonstration of operation of all installed equipment by a manufacturer's representative.
