Bailey, GP24-C/Contract Specialist, 205-961-2303, or Jane Maples, GP24/Contracting Officer This notice is a combined Synopsis/RFQ for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as a supplement with additional information included in this notice -- This notice serves as the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued -- This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for: Item 1, VxWork Tornado Object License for SUNx Power PC W/Five Development seats, including one set of documentation, BSP for PowerPC 604 and one Target License, CMI P/N #100-3057-12-01, quantity 1 each -- Item 2, Annual Maintenance and support for item number 1, CMI P/N 130-1000-0000, quantity 1 each -- Item 3, Windview diagnostic & analysis software for 3 users, CMI P/N 100-4031-1Z-00, quantity 1 each -- Item 4, Windview maintenance for 3 users, CMI P/N 130-2520-0001, quantity 1 each -- Item 5, PowerPC604 Target License, CMI P/N 140-1230-0000, quantity 1 each -- Item 6, Tornado Documentation, CMI P/N 150-1540-0000, 1 set -- This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA) -- The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 90-34 -- This procurement is a total small business set-aside -- Delivery to MSFC (FOB Destination) is required within 45 days ARO -- Quoters shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 -- The quoter shall complete FAR 52.212-3 and submit it as part of their quote -- FAR 52.212-4, 52.212-5, and 52.227-19 are applicable with the exception of 52.212-5(b): 52.203-6, 52.203-10, 52.219-8, 52.219-9, 52.219-14, 52.225-9, 52.225-17, 52.225-18, 52.225-19, 52.225-21, 52.247-64, and all of 52.212-5(c) -- The quoter shall state in their quote their size status for this procurement as well as whether they are minority or woman-owned -- The SIC code and the size standard for this procurement are 7372 and $14.5 respectively -- If other than the brand name identified is quoted, then the quoter shall indicate the manufacturer, brand, and model/part number quoted and provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product quoted meets the brand name identified -- The quoter shall provide a description (including manufacturer, brand, and model no.) in sufficient detail to show that the product quoted meets the specifications included in this notice -- If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled ''Buy American Act -- Supplies,'' the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin -- The quoter shall identify place of performance in their quote -- The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-A7 -- Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing no later than 4/08/96 -- Companies shall notify this office of their intent to submit a quote -- Transmission by facsimile to 205-544-9081 or by Internet e-mail to james.bailey@msfc.nasa.gov is acceptable -- Quotations (including FAR 52.212-3, Representations and Certifications which may be obtained via the internet at ''http://procure.msfc.nasa.gov/proc_ref.html'' or at ''ftp://procure.msfc.nasa.gov/reps_certs/sats/'') are due on April 22, 1996, to the address specified above to the attention of James W.
