The Federal Computer Acquisition Center (FEDCAC) plans to purchase 26 personal computer workstations. The minimum hardware requirements are as follows: Pentium 150MHZ CPU with cooling fan on CPU. Minitower with 200W UL Power Supply. PCI motherboard architecture w/256KB Pipeline Burst Cache. PCI EIDE Controller with 1 bi-directional Parallel Port and 2 high speed Serial Ports with 16550 UARTs. 4 PCI 3 ISA slots. 16MB 60ns EDO RAM, expendable to 128 MB. 1.6GB EIDE hard drive, 10ms average access time or less. Capable of supporting 4 hard drives. 3.5'' 1.44MB high density Floppy Drive. 15'' SVGA color monitor 1024x768,.28dp, flat screen, non-interlaced, low radiation (meets Swedish MPR II standard), Energy Star complaint. 2MB PCI DRAM Video Graphics Accelarator. Serial mouse. 104-key keyboard enhanced for windows 95. Windows 95 with disks and documentation. One year warranty. All system components shall be identical. Vendors will have 10 calendar days to respond to the Request For Quotation (RFQ). The Government does not plan to distribute printed copies of the RFQ. RFQ will be made available thru the Hanscom Electronic RFP Bulletin Board (HERBB) and the Internet. The HERBB can be accessed thru a computer modem, 24 hours per day, by calling 617/377-1487.
