The Government intends to purchase approximately 155 notebook computer systems. Each system will include the following: 133 MH INTEL Pentium Processor, PCI internal architecture, 1024 x 768 screen resolution on active matrix display; 1.2 GB removable hard drive, hot swappable 3.5'' high density floppy disk with internal 6X speed CD ROM, docking station, and dual Type II (single Type III) PCMCIA interface ports; PCMCIA interface cards; portable Inkjet printer; and COTS software. The hardware shall carry a Microsoft Windows 95 compliance certification or pass an acceptable alternative demonstration of compliance with Windows 95 products. The notebook shall also be capable of supporting Windows NT. A three year warranty covering parts and labor for the notebook computer shall be required.
