Information is sought on potential sources for the purpose of providing 2 each of a facsimile system designed for the sending and reproduction of large military style maps and map overlays. System is to be able to handle 36 inch by 72 inch format maps, be high speed, computer compatible, LAN compatible, and Mobile Subscriber Equipment compatible. Available information is that requirement can only be provided by Magnavox Electronic Systems Company, West Coast Division, under the item name MX 736 MAPFAX. Responses will form a part of the determination as to sole source provision of this item. Requested responses are to provide information including technical information demonstrating that requirement can be provided by other vendors. In addition, requested responses are to be in writing and will identify the vendor's name, address, phone number, point of contact, business size and other vendor category information.
