B -- CONDUCTING THE 1997 SURVEY OF PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE ARTS SOL RFP 96-02. Due 051596. POC William I Hummel, Contract Specialist, 202/682-5482. The requirement consists of completion of the next nationwide survey of public participation in the arts, which will be conducted in 1997. This survey will seek to replicate the data collected in the earlier surveys, conducted in 1982, 1985 and 1992, in the most cost-effective manner while ensuring the greatest comparability to the earlier surveys. The contractor will conduct between 11,500 and 12,500 telephone interviews of approximately fifteen minutes each, between April 15 and October 15 of 1997, of a scientifically selected probability sample representative of the adult (18 years & over) population. Release date for RFQ 96-02 is approximately April 15, 1996, with the proposal closing date approximately 30 days thereafter.
