The contract will be used to obtain a wide range of information technology management and administrative system services in support of the WASC. The WASC provides administrative systems development, implementation, and operation services to all divisions and offices within the USGS and all bureaus of the Department of the Interior, and to other Federal customers. The WASC customers are provided a variety of FIP support services such as requirements definition, systems design, systems analysis, systems development, program maintenance, communications studies, technical writing, training, user orientation and assistance, and system audits. The proposed contract will be used to provide these services. Locations of performance under the contract will be at various locations throughout the United States; however, the primary location for performance will be Reston, Virginia. An Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract is anticipated. The contract term is intended to be one base period plus four 1 year option periods commencing on date of award. This requirement is a competitive 8(a) set-aside. The sic code is 7371. Specifications will be available with Solicitation No. 1434-HQ-96-SS-00005.
