The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks to award a one year contract with three option years for interpreting services. USAID currently has 14 hearing-impaired, hard of hearing and deaf employees who periodically require the services of a sign language interpreter. Regularly scheduled sign language interpreter services are required for some of the employees while others will require services on an ad-hoc basis. It is estimated that a RFP will be issued on or about April 29, 1996 with a closing date of May 31, 1996. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5'' floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format).
